Houston, TX (November 13, 2024) --For nearly three decades, Habitat for Humanity and Wells Fargo have collaborated to share a vision of a world where everyone has a place to live. Here in Northwest Harris County, they are continuing that commitment with a donation of $15,000 to support a local family gain homeownership.
This year, Wells Fargo donated more than $6.3 million in grant funding through the 2024 Wells Fargo Builds program to support new home construction, renovation, and home repair of more than 280 affordable homes in 170 communities across the U.S.
It was a great day on the build site, as we had volunteers from multiple branches join us to paint and caulk. We are thankful to Wells Fargo and their dedicated employees who joined us on the build site and help us to make a difference in our community. Our mission revolves around empowering individuals and families to acheive stability, self-reliance, and a better quality of life through shelter.
